English is an international language spoken in many countries around the world and used globally for business and study. Cambridge English exams reflect that by:
- using materials featuring a variety of accents and texts sourced from a range of English-speaking countries including the UK, North America and Australia
- fully accepting all accents in Speaking tests – as long as they do not interfere with communication
- accepting US or other varieties of spelling in the Writing test, if used consistently.
